“Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts.” – Paramahansa Yogananda.
Gage Landon Williams was born on Aug. 23, 2002, in Lake Charles, La., to Chasity Laughlin Williams and Tony Williams.
He attended St. John Elementary, S.J. Welch and was a 2021 graduate of St. Louis Catholic High School. Throughout his academic career, he played basketball, baseball, and football. He had a great deal of admiration and respect for his coaches and developed lasting relationships. After high school, he attended McNeese State University, later moving to Colorado to live and work with his uncle Max at Summit Integrated Systems.
Gage had a true passion for music, art, nature and his sneaker collection. He wanted to experience what the world had to offer and hoped to travel see it all. It was clear to anyone who met him that Gage was willing to tackle any challenge that would come his way and would not be stopped until he overcame it. He was a hard worker and everyone could see that. One of Gage’s favorite things to do was spend time with his family at the beach. His smile and charm had a way of comforting even the most troubled person. He had the spirit of an old soul, with a personality that brightened any room he entered. Gage’s wit and charm had a way of winning over any room while his humor filled these rooms with laughter and joy. His sneaker collection was constantly growing, and full of his favorite brand, Nike. He always found time to be prepared for the latest Nike releases. Throughout Gage’s life, one thing was for certain, the respect and love he had for his mother was felt by all who shared in his presence.
