Patsy Anding Istre, age 75, of Sulphur, La., passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.
She was a native of Oakdale and had been a resident of Sulphur for many years. Patsy enjoyed spending time with her family. She retired from Centerpoint Energy after 44 years of service. She will be remembered as a very selfless person, always putting others before herself.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew Anding Istre and wife Emily, and Markham James Istre, all of Sulphur; her stepson, Dana Robert Istre and wife Lisa of Tomball, Texas; her sisters, Vicky Smith of Cypress, Texas, and Julia Shell of Beaumont, Texas; and her grandson, Kyler Matthew Istre. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Jo Ella Morgan and Linda Matte; and a grandson, Elie Markham Istre.
