Audrey Fay Bruce Courrege, age 98, of Vinton, La., passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Fay was born Oct. 10, 1923, in Lake Charles, La.
Fay was a native of Moss Bluff, La., and a graduate of Gillis High School. Fay later settled in Vinton, LA where she was a Beautician for 45 years. She was a member of Welsh United Memorial Methodist Church in Vinton for many years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her brother, Julian Bruce (Rebecca Trahan) of Moss Bluff; and special niece, Cindy LeBlanc of Westlake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, I.B. Courrege; her parents, Harvey and Stella Burks Bruce; her siblings, Marvin Bruce, Myrtis Perkins, and Betty Barton.
The family would like to give special thanks to High Hope Care Center for the excellent care and love they provided Fay these last five years.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Highland Garden of Memories Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA with Pastor Rick Watson officiating. Services entrusted to Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton.
