On Saturday, May 21, 2022, Karen Michelle Bollich, 65, of Mowata, was called into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Karen was an amazing mother, Nana, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She had a heart of gold! Karen loved to meet new people, visit with friends and family, watch movies, read books, attend plays, and cheer on her grandsons, her cowboys, at their rodeos. Karen also loved all things LSU! Karen was a very kind woman who would do anything for anyone. She loved fiercely and was adored by all who loved her! Karen enjoyed her career in banking, most recently at First National Bank in Crowley, where she was a customer service representative.
Karen is survived by her only son, Nicholas Joel Cart; her daughter-in-law, Meredith; and hergrandso ns, Ethan and Tucker Cart of Hamshire, Texas; her siblings, Jennifer Bollich Wyble and Matt of Baton Rouge; Kristina Bollich Cochran and Chuck of Moss Bluff; Michael Bollich and Joy of Eunice; and Daniel Bollich and Jennifer Jo of Ventress. In addition, she is survived by her nieces, Gretchen Bollich Godeaux and Austin, Alexandra Wyble Sheets and Landon, Jordan Cochran, Mattie Jo, Sarah, Ellie, and Mary Grace Bollich; nephews, Joshua Sanders and Valerie, Jake Cochran, Ian Wyble, Isaac, Joseph, and Samuel Bollich; and her great nieces Zoie Sanders, Lettie Sheets, and soon to be Ella-Kay Godeaux.
She is preceded in death by her parents Elmo and Elrena Manuel Bollich; as well as her grandparents, Dewey and Zilda Brown Manuel and Frank and Barbara Zaunbrecher Bollich.
Karen lived a life of service always caring for someone. She will be deeply missed by those who love her. A visitation of family and friends of will be held Monday evening, May 23, 2022 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice from 5-9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8-10:30 a.m. A rosary will be prayed Monday evening at 7 p.m. led by Mildred Eaglin. The celebration of her life with mass and Christian burial will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Mowata. Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Cemetery with Father Michael Sucharski, Celebrant.
