Amanda Lynn Guillory, 35, of Lake Charles, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Amanda was a life-long resident of the Lake Charles/ Moss Bluff area and had attended Sam Houston High School. She enjoyed fishing and loved being outdoors. Amanda had a charismatic personality, an eccentric dress style, and a smile that would light up a room. She will be remembered as a loving and caring person.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Gracelyn Savoie of Franklin, La., Karleigh Bruney and Hayden Bruney of Starks; parents, Blane and Lois Guillory of Lake Charles; five sisters, Brandy Prince of Westlake, Kerry Hazell (Robert) of Moss Bluff, Amy Guillory of Moss Bluff, Heather Guillory of Moss Bluff, and Crystal Guillory of Moss Bluff; two brothers, Christopher Guillory, and Matthew Guillory of Moss Bluff; grandmothers, Vernell Monceaux of Lake Charles, and Sandra Breaux of Gillis.
Amanda was preceded in death by her brother, Blane Anthony Guillory Jr.; and grandfather, Joseph Stoney Guillory.
A Celebration of Amanda’s life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2022, in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday and resume at 9 a.m. -1 p.m. on Sunday in the funeral home.
