Nettie “Trouble” Lee Henagan

Nettie Lee (Trouble) Henagan was born in DeQuincy on Jan. 30, 1935, and passed away after a brief illness on April 15, 2022, at the age of 87. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of DeQuincy where she served for many years on the kitchen team helping serve food for all occasions at the church. She dearly loved her Sunday School class and all the friends she had in class. She raised with her husband, Bobby two sons following them and supporting them in the many sports they were involved in and later loved watching and supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their activities. She was an awesome mother, MawMaw and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her two sons, Darrell Henagan and wife Debbie and Jimmy Henagan and wife Jeri Lynn; seven grandchildren, Kashia Spears(Kevin), Brandon Henagan (Courtney), Christin Dowers (Jake), Ryan Guillot (Jonathan), Jon Henagan, Haley Bush (Kris), Alyx Henagan; and 13 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Bobby Henagan; her parents, Jim Marcantel and Mamie Shoemake Marcantel; brother, Lloyd Marcantel; sisters, Ruby Seifeld, Myrtle King and Claire Williams.
Family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2022 and 10- 11 a.m. Thursday, April 21, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. The visitation and funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, 201 S. Pine Street, DeQuincy, La. The Rev. Brad Johnson and Pastor Jim Fisher will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Masonic Cemetery, DeQuincy, La.
