Classie Ray Ballou Jr. transitioned on Jan. 16, 2022 at his home in New Orleans, La. 

Born to parents Classie (Mildred) Ballou Sr. and Sarah Johnson, Classie was blessed with seven incredible brothers and four great sisters that he loved dearly. He cherished his sons, Classie (Tamia) Ballou, Andrew (Shaneya) Vincent, and Christopher Ballou, nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends and band mates alike are left with many wonderful memories to cherish.

Respects can be paid during his memorial service at Mt. Olive Baptist Church on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at 3 p.m.
