SW La. school lunch menus Jan. 24-28

The following menus for Jan. 24-28 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chicken fried beef patty or fingers with mashed potatoes and gravy, whole-grain breadstick, great northern or navy beans, fruit cocktail, plums.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with whole-grain biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, creamy coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Pork roast with rice and gravy, black-eyed pears, whole-kernel corn, fruit cocktail, grapes, whole-wheat roll or chocolate graham crackers.

THURSDAY: Nachose (meat, cheese, sauce, tortilla chips) or chicken taquito, Mexican-style beans, lettuce/tomato cup, blueberries, raisins.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich, onion rings or sweet potato fries, celery sticks with ranch, pears with shredded cheese cup.


MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, honey bun, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Ham slice and grits, Trix cereal bar or graham crackers, peaches, orange.

WEDNESDAY: Plain bagel with cream cheese or toast with jelly, string cheese stick, apricots, banana.

THURSDAY: Pancake on a stick, hash brown, fruit cocktail, grapes.

FRIDAY: Breakfast break kt, banana or blueberry muffin, blueberries, raisins.



MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, carrots, apple, roll.

TUESDAY: Crunchy beef taco, Spanish rice, taco salad cup, fruit mix.

WEDNESDAY: Manager’s choice.

THURSDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, roll, fruit cup, berry smooth dip.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, salad cup, apple crisp.


MONDAY: Pancakes, syrup, pears.

TUESDAY: French toast, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Hash brown casserole, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Biscuit sausage patty, mixed fruit, juice.

FRIDAY: Waffle dunkers, yogurt, peaches.



MONDAY: Corn dogs, roasted potato wedges, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY: Grilled cheese sandwich, loaded baked potato soup, mixed vegetables, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Crispy chicken sandwich, sweet potato waffle fries, Mandarin oranges.

THURSDAY: Beef meatballs with rice and gravy, mustard greens, red grapes, cornbread muffins.

FRIDAY: Tacos with beef and cheese, ranchero beans, chilled fruit cup, sugar cookie.


MONDAY: Glazed donut holes, yogurt, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Blueberry muffins, bananas.

WEDNESDAY: Brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal, cinnamon toast, apple slices.

THURSDAY: Waffles, pineapple tidbits.

FRIDAY: Assorted crunchy cereals, red apples.



MONDAY: Cheeseburgers, baked beans, sweet potato shoestring fries, fruit fluff.

TUESDAY: Chicken fried steak and gravy, yeast rolls, broccoli, mashed potatoes, pineapple chunks.

WEDNESDAY: Mini corn dogs, potatoes wedges, pinto beans, tropical fruit salad.

THURSDAY: Baked chicken, rice, green beans, apple-glazed sweet potatoes.

FRIDAY: Cheese pizza, corn on the cob, broccoli and cheese, sliced peaches.


MONDAY: Dutch waffles, apple cup, cinnamon granola.

TUESDAY: Bacon breakfast pizza, tater triangles, pear cup.

WEDNESDAY: Fruit and granola parfait.

THURSDAY: Confetti pancakes, red grapes, bacon.

FRIDAY: McGriddle, Rice Krispies treats, Mandarin orange cup.
