Kimberly Ann Miller (née Widener), age 48, of Moss Bluff, La., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, following a courageous year-long battle with colon cancer.

Kim was born March 8, 1973, in Lake Charles La. to David Widener and Becky (née Andrus) Horner.  She was a graduate of LaGrange High School in 1992 and went on to attend McNeese State University.  Kim was a proud employee of Dr. Alice Prestia’s practice for 20+ years with the Ochsner Christus Health Center, where she was also undergoing cancer treatment.  Besides spending time with her family and friends, Kim loved her time at the beach.  She was bright, kind-hearted, and had a passion for service for others.  She touched many lives with her generosity, infectious laughter, and love for life.
