Darrell Burcham

Darrell Burcham, 72, of Sulphur, LA passed away on November 21, 2021, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Darrell was born on July 26, 1949, in Franklin, LA to Leonard and Anna Burcham. He enjoyed karate, golfing, and weightlifting. He was a past member of the Cowboy Club and loved watching the McNeese Cowboys on Saturday night. Darrell worked as a Security Supervisor for 30 years in the Petrochemical Industry and worked for 4 years for the Lake Charles Police Department. He was a member for 35 years at First Baptist Church of Sulphur where he taught Sunday School and Teen College and later became a member at Maplewood Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 50 years Pat Burcham; one son, Chris Burcham and wife Kim; two grandchildren, Kaylee Marti and husband Landon and Caitlin Burcham; one great grandchild, Mila Marti; one sister, Cheryl Burcham; and Best Friend and Loyal four-legged companion, “Guido”.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Garden’s Cemetery in Lake Charles, LA. Rev. Robert Parker, Dr. David Holder, and Rev. Gary Bankson will be officiating services.
