Margaret “Peggy” Louise Laneve was born on February 12, 1935 in Keyser, WV to the late Thomas and Leo Cora Collins.

She attended University of West Virginia receiving her B.S. in Music followed by Clarion University of Pennsylvania where she earned a master’s degree in education. Her husband Arthur Sr. was employed in Forestry, so she accompanied him to his many duty stations throughout the U.S. teaching music and elementary education until his retirement. Together they also owned an Antique Shop and enjoyed traveling to various shows selling and obtaining new pieces.
