James Carrol Stine, 69, passed away on October 18, 2021, in a local hospital.  James loved working with his hands and fixing things.  He was a mechanic at heart.  James was a member of Light of Life Church.  He was loved by his family and all who knew him. 

James is survived by his children, Heather Reinholt, Jamie Stine and fiancé, Jeff Drounette and Joey Stine and wife, Tara; his sisters, Chris Fontenot and Carolyn Hunt; his brothers, Coy Stine and wife, Dana and Barry Stine and wife, Elise; his mother, Dorothy Mae Casanova; his stepmother, Betty Stine; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, I.C. Stine; his brother, Johnny Lyons; his sister, Mary Clement; and his stepfather, Leonard Casanova.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. 

Memorial services for James will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021, from 5-7 P.M. at Light of Life Church, 116 Park St, in Sulphur, LA.
