Mary Alice (Lanthier) Adams, age 83, of Westlake, La. passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021. Mary was born Dec. 11, 1937 to Jean Baptiste Lanthier and Adelle Richard.

Mary Alice was a native of Jennings and resident of Westlake for many years. She was a nurse for Moss Regional in Lake Charles for many years where she retired.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kawthar Ismail of Fla.; brother, Curvis Lanthier and wife Janell of Baton Rouge; grandsons, Jerry Lee Thibodeaux Jr. and Brandon Lind;  great-grandchildren, Gracie Marie, Alex Thibodeaux, Andrew, Isaac, and Allyce Lind; companion, Mr. Julian “Buddy” Sallier; daughter-in-law, Diane Thibodeaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Thibodeaux Sr.; brother, Lawrence Lanthier; great-granddaughter, Lilly Thibodeaux; 12 half brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles beginning at 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. when a Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home. Burial will be immediately following at Consolata Cemetery. Msgr. Harry Greig will be officiating at the services.
