Arrests made in four-wheeler theft in Acadia Parish

Two men have been arrested and a third is wanted in connection with the theft of two four-wheelers, authorities said.

A spokesman from the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office said 24-year-old Justin Dupont, of Jennings, was charged with two counts of felony theft and accessory to vehicle burglary. His bond was set at $140,000 by District Judge Kristian Earles in Acadia Parish. Also arrested was 20-year-old Tyler Dane Stockman, of Basile. Stockman was charged with two counts of felony theft and vehicle burglary. His bond was set at $60,000.

The four-wheelers were reported stolen from a residence on Mamou Prairie Road in Acadia Parish on March 29.

Warrants for two counts of felony theft and accessory to vehicle burglary have also been issued for Shawn Dietz, of Evangeline.
