METAIRIE — A suburban New Orleans woman was found bludgeoned to death in her bathtub early Sunday and the man she lived with and his three children were missing, authorities said.

Deputies have a warrant seeking the arrest of 43-year-old Pedro Alberto Monterroso-Navas on a second-degree murder charge, said Cpl. John Fortunato, spokesman for the Jefferson Parish sheriff.

He added Monterroso-Navas, who is from Honduras, may also use the alias Wilson Rigoberto Mina. Investigators don’t know what kind of vehicle he may be driving.

The 25-year-old woman’s name was being withheld.

State police issued a missing children alert for a 12-year-old girl and boys aged 2 and 4.

Fortunato said two other boys in the blended household alerted neighbors Sunday.

“Two of her youngest kids knocked on everybody’s door on this side and kept screaming and screaming their momma need help,” Paul Ross said.

Deputies found the woman unconscious with head wounds and she died in her apartment, Sheriff Newell Normand said.(MGNonline)
