A judge in state district court declined to reduce the bond of a man accused of second-degree murder.
The bond of Leo Paul Thibodeaux, 54, remains set at $1 million.
The bond was originally set by Judge David Ritchie and was upheld Wednesday by Judge Kent Savoie.
Authorities allege Thibodeaux shot his girlfriend, 37-year-old Toni Marie Frabbiele, twice in the head in March 2012.
Thibodeaux reported the death as a suicide. At the time, authorities called the death suspicious but Thibodeaux wasn’t arrested until September 2013.
