Daycare worker arrested on charges of cruelty to juveniles

News Release

DERIDDER — On August 1, 2018, a complaint was filed on a child care worker from a local day care in DeRidder. 

The complaint alleged neglect and abuse on a 3 year old child by the worker in July of 2018.

Officers of the DeRidder Police department and the Department of Children and Family Services investigated the allegations and based on the evidence presented, an arrest warrant was issued for 23 year old Kelsey B. Dease (183 Pearl Creek Rd., Anacoco, La.) 

Dease turned herself in to the DeRidder Police department on August 20, 2018 and was booked into the BPSO Jail for Cruelty to Juveniles with a $5000.00 bond.””<p>Kelsey B. Dease</p>
