BREAKING: One captured, one still sought in Westlake homicide

Justin Ned — wanted in the Jan. 31 death of Damarcus Ardoin — has been located by the U.S. Marshal’s Office near Dallas.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s spokesperson Kayla Vincent said Ned was located Thursday night. The DeQuincy man is accused of being principal to second-degree murder in Ardoin’s death.

Ardoin’s body was located in a Westlake mobile home near Westwood Road around midnight Jan. 31.

Sheriff Tony Mancuso previously told the American Press the homicide might be drug-related.

Warrants were initially issued for Ned, Autoria “Tori” Lachney, 22; and Kevin Williams, 23 of Eunice. Lachney and Williams were located on Feb. 6 and arrested. Both are charged with second-degree murder.

Earlier this month detectives issued a warrant for the arrest of William D. Dennis, 24, for second-degree murder, in the amount of $250,000.

Anyone with any information on Dennis’ whereabouts is asked to call CPSO at 491-3605.  Anyone who is found to be assisting or harboring Dennis will be charged accordingly.

Det. Barrett Savoie is the lead investigator on this case.
