LCPD seeks information on hit-and-run involving cyclist

News Release

On Friday, October 5<sup>th</sup>, 2018, at approximately 7:30 PM, the Lake Charles Police Department was assigned to investigate a hit and run crash that occurred at the intersection of Country Club Road and Jerry Street.

Upon arrival, officers located a cyclist that had been struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses say the cyclist and suspect vehicle were both traveling east on Country Club Road.

The witnesses describe the suspect vehicle as being a small, compact vehicle, white or silver in color.

The cyclist is listed in stable condition at a Lafayette area hospital.
