SW La. school lunch menus Nov. 1-5

The following menus for Nov. 1-5 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.



MONDAY: Chicken Philly sub, French fries, cauliflower with hummus, fruit cocktail, raisins, brownie bar.

TUESDAY: Barbecue chicken totchos or potato rounds with cheese, garden salad, applesauce, orange, graham crackers.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken sauce picante or turkey roast with gravy, rice, lima beans, potato salad, strawberry cup, banana.

THURSDAY: Turkey crunchy taco or chicken taquito, salsa, taco salad cup with shredded cheese, refried beans, peaches.

FRIDAY: Fish and pickle sandwich, macaroni and cheese, great northern or navy beans, apricots, apple.


MONDAY: Mini pancakes with syrup, sausage link, melon cup, banana.

TUESDAY: Cinnamon Toast Crunch soft-filled bar or chocolate chip muffin, fruit cocktail, rains, graham crackers.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain egg and sausage burrito or toast with jelly, yogurt cup, applesauce, orange.

THURSDAY: Ham slice, scrambled eggs, buttered toast, strawberry cup, banana.

FRIDAY: Pop Tarts, string cheese stick, peaches pears.



MONDAY: Pizza, corn, orange wedges, roll.

TUESDAY: Sloppy Joes, salad cup, potato rounds, pears.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, potato salad, mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Cheesy ham and potato soup, broccoli, cornbread, fruit cup, Yocaramel dip.

FRIDAY: Nachos with ground beef, taco salad cup, red beans, cinnamon rolls, pears.


MONDAY: Toaster pastries, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: Biscuits and gravy, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon toast, pears.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Oatmeal, toast, peaches.



MONDAY: Pepperoni pizza, sweet corn, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Cajun red beans and rice, sausage, glazed carrots, cornbread muffins, diced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Rice and gravy, mustard greens, red grapes, cornbread muffins.

THURSDAY: Barbecue chicken, baked beans, red grapes, honey wheat roll.

FRIDAY: Spaghetti, seasoned green beans, cantaloupe, Italian roll.


MONDAY: Maple waffle and sausage sandwich, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Granola breakfast bars, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast eggstravaganza, buttered toast, fruit cocktail.

THURSDAY: Chocolate chip muffin, red apples.

FRIDAY: French toast sticks, kiwi fruit cup.



MONDAY: Sausage on a bun, three-cheese cavatappi, green beans, roasted rosemary redskin potatoes.

TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, mozzarella bread stick, orange-glazed carrots, asparagus, calico fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Beef and cheese nachos, cheese sticks, fixing cup, pinto beans, cantaloupes.

THURSDAY: Mini meatballs, cornbread bowl, rice, dark green salad with cheery tomatoes and carrot sticks, four fruit explosion.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, curly fries, sandwich cup, ranchero beans, fruit fluff.


MONDAY: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Rice Krispies Treat, tangerine.

TUESDAY: Chocolate chip muffin, strawberry mango cup.

WEDNESDAY: Sausage biscuit, colby cheese omelet, apple cup.

THURSDAY: Confetti pancakes, mixed fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Country scramble hash brown bowl, green grapes.

FRIDAY: Sloppy Joes, potato rounds, green lima beans, fruit.


MONDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham crackers, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Pancake sausage stick, pear halves.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast burrito, chilled mixed fruit.
