LCPD seeks information on hit and run accident

News Release

On 09-09-18 at 11:13pm Lake Charles Police handled a hit and run accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

Officers responded to the intersection of McNeese St. and Sale Ln. Investigation into the accident revealed that the motorcycle was traveling east on McNeese Street. A white Nissan car was traveling west on McNeese Street. The Nissan turned left in front of the motorcycle causing the motorcycle to strike the car on the front passenger side.  After turning in front of the motorcycle causing the accident the Nissan fled the scene, last seen traveling south on Sale Ln.

The rider of the motorcycle sustained moderate to severe injuries.
