Fugitive wanted for Burglary

<p class="p1">On Wednesday April 18, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from a complainant, who reported a burglary of metal products from his barn on Hwy 3059.  When deputies arrived the subject fled in his vehicle and a pursuit ensued.  The subject, Steven Sean Willis, 25, of 818 North Highway 171, Lake Charles fled on foot into a wooded area at the dead end of a road in Calcasieu Parish and escaped arrest.  Willis is wanted for one count of Simple burglary, for the theft of approximately $6,000 in metal pipe, pipe fittings and other times. Willis also will have additional charges pending for the flight from an officer and resisting.  Authorities are asking for assistance in locating Willis.  If Willis is seen or if anyone has information on his location, please contact the Sheriff’s office at (337) 821-2100.
