SW La. school lunch menus Sept. 23-27

The following menus for Sept. 23-27 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

Allen

Lunch

MONDAY: Potato soup with ham or cheese burger soup, carrots and celery sticks with ranch, steamed broccoli, whole-wheat mozzarella breadstick, strawberry frozen cup, peaches.

TUESDAY: Chicken sauce picante with rice, lima beans, potato salad, cranberry sauce, whole wheat roll, orange, yogurt.

WEDNESDAY: Tacos or burritos, salsa, taco salad cup with tomato and shredded cheese, refried beans, grapes, apricots, honey grahams.

THURSDAY: Chili mac, sweet potatoes with glaze, green beans, cornbread mini loaf, apple, pears and shredded cheese.

FRIDAY: Pizza, corn on the cob, mixed vegetables, pineapple rings with cherries, banana, cowboy cookie.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Pancakes, syrup, hash brown, Mandarin oranges, raisins.

TUESDAY: Cheese toast, sausage links, peaches, sliced strawberries.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast burrito, string cheese stick, orange, yogurt.

THURSDAY: Breakfast pizza, cereal bar, apricots, grapes.

FRIDAY: Chocolate or grape crescents, yogurt with granola, apple, pears.

MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Nachos with beef, taco salad cup, red beans, pears, cinnamon rolls.

WEDNESDAY: Beef and gravy over rice, black-eyed peas, sweet potatoes, peaches.

THURSDAY: Chili over rice, baked beans, garden salad, orange wedges.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, waffle fries, salad cup, fruit cup.

MONDAY: Pancake and sausage on a stick, pears.

TUESDAY: Blueberry muffins, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Western scramble, toast, peaches.

THURSDAY: Ham and cheese roll, sliced apples.

FRIDAY: Waffle dunkers, yogurt, peaces.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, mixed vegetables, baby carrots, kiwi

TUESDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, tossed salad, glazed carrots, honeydew and cantaloupe, Italian roll.

WEDNESDAY: Chili cheese burrito, Texas ranchero beans, broccoli and cheese, fruit.

THURSDAY: Jambalya, sweet potatoes, cucumber slices, cornbread muffins, applesauce.

FRIDAY: Cheeseburger, French fries, lettuce cup, baked beans, strawberries.

MONDAY: Crunchy cereal, red and green apples.

TUESDAY: Pancakes, sliced pears.

WEDNESDAY: Hot chicken biscuit, fruit salad.

WEDNESDAY: Crispy chicken sandwich, crinkle cut French fries, sandwich cup, sliced apples.

THURSDAY: Breaded mini cheese ravioli, dark green salad with cherry tomatoes, green beans, bananas, slushie.
