Library program teaches the art of puppetry and silly voices

Join Mr. Phil from the Epps Memorial Library as he teaches children the art of puppetry and silly voices.

Using household materials, participants will make their own sock puppets and learn how to get creative with their voices to make their puppets come to life.

The fun takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 3:45 p.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, located at 2009 N Simmons St.

The program is free and open to all ages. All supplies will be provided by the library.

For more information on this and other fun programs at the Epps Memorial Library, call 337-721-7090 or visit www.calcasieulibrary.org.
