Mayor’s Youth Partnership announces call for members

The city of Lake Charles is accepting applications for its Mayor’s Youth Partnership 2024-2025 term.

Applications are now available and will be accepted through Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Students who will be in grades 8th-12th (2024-2025 school year) and attend a school located within the City of Lake Charles incorporated areas are eligible to apply.

The Partnership’s mission is to provide City of Lake Charles youth with a voice in local government issues that matter most to them. It aims to promote participation in City government, to broaden youth leadership skills and to increase understanding of community issues through structured discussion and participation in community events.
