Jeff Davis in process of clearing roads

Jeff Davis Parish Police Jury road crews have been actively collaborating with the Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) to clear critical roadways throughout the parish.

This effort is essential for maintaining access for emergency vehicles, officials said.

Officials are continuously monitoring conditions on all parish roads and will proceed with clearing additional roadways as needed to improve drivability.

The focus will be on maximizing traction and preventing the exposure of underlying ice, which could lead to more hazardous conditions.

For any issues or concerns regarding road conditions, contact the Police Jury office at 337-824-4792.
