Sheriff’s office identifies Sulphur man as suspect

<p class="p1">JENNINGS – Jeff Davis Sheriff’s officials have identified a Calcasieu Parish man as a suspect in the murder of a Topsy man found dead in front of his home on Friday.</p><p class="p1">The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant Saturday for David Wade Clark, 28, of Sulphur.</p><p class="p1">He is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Devin Marc Sanders, 33, of Topsy.</p><p class="p1">Sanders was found laying in front of his home at 267 Ieyoub Road, just off Briar Marsh Road, in Topsy around 9:30 a.m. after a neighbor reported a man down.</p><p class="p1">Authorities said there was an obvious sign of a struggle, but are not releasing the cause of the man’s death pending further investigation.</p><p class="p1">Clark is believed to be traveling in a 2006 Ford F-150, tan or brown in color, bearing Louisiana license plate C 116876.</p><p class="p1">If anyone spots his vehicle or has information on his location, they should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 337-821-2100 or 337-821-2106.</p>””<p class="p1">David Wade Clark, 28, of Sulphur is wanted on a charge of first-degree murder in the death of Devin Marc Sanders, 33, of Topsy on Friday.
