Exhibit hangs through May 25
<p class="p1">“Colors, Canvases and Creativity,” an exhibit featuring three artists, is continuing through May 25 at the Black Heritage Gallery.
<p class="p1">Artists whose works will be featured include Judith Braggs, highlighting her folk art quilts; Ronald Kennedy, exhibiting African masks, and Darlene Moore, showcasing her folk art paintings.
<p class="p1">All art is available for purchase.
<p class="p1">Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
<p class="p1">The McNeese Department of Visual Arts is a co-sponsor of the exhibit.
<p class="p1">The Black Heritage Gallery is located in the Central School Arts & Humanities Center, 809 Kirby St.
<p class="p1">The gallery features exhibits and hosts educational activities representing the contributions of African Americans to Southwest Louisiana.
