F.K. White student charged with terrorizing

A F.K. White Middle School student was arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly making a threat against a student.

Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Kayla Vincent said a 14-year-old boy made a threat to shoot up a football game, scheduled later tonight.

“It was also learned the suspect made the threat while at school,” Vincent said.

After further investigation, the student was arrested and booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with terrorizing-menacing.

CPSO Detective Mika Liptak is the lead investigator on this case.

The Calcasieu Parish School Board assisted CPSO with the investigation.
