The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is forecasting a cold front to move through our region late Friday night into Saturday morning. There will be a risk for strong to severe thunderstorms, starting late Friday night, and continuing into Saturday morning. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes are all possible.

In addition, one to three inches of rain is expected. During periods of heavy rain, some streets could flood. Be especially careful at night when it is harder to tell how deep the water is over roads.
