Public meeting tonight on Country Club Road improvements

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will host an open house 5-7 p.m. tonight, April 3, at the SEED Center, 4310 Ryan St.

The purpose of this meeting is to allow for public input on potential alternatives that would improve safety and traffic flow along a portion of La. 384 (Country Club Road) from Big Lake Road to McNeese Street while maintaining mobility, said spokesperson John Guidroz

Representatives with DOTD and Neel-Schaffer Inc. – the consultant team for the Stage 0 Feasibility Study – will be present to receive comments and answer questions.

Comments may be submitted at the meeting by recording verbal statements or by submitting written statements. Written statements can also be mailed to the address shown below and must be postmarked within 10 calendar days following the meeting. Comments can be mailed to Neel-Schaffer, Inc.,  Attention: Dishili Young, P.E. at  10000 Perkins Rowe, Suite G360, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
