Big Lots: LC store will remain open

Big Lots has announced that its Lake Charles store at 3250 Gerstner Memorial Drive — which was previously scheduled for closure —  will remain open.

The decision is part of the company’s ongoing restructuring process aimed at enhancing customer experience and refining its market presence, the company said.

“We’re thrilled that our Big Lots store in Lake Charles will remain open and continue serving this community.” said Big Lots Chief Stores Officer Kristen Cox. “Thanks to the incredible support from our associates, business partners, and local shoppers, we look forward to bringing even more value and convenience to our customers for years to come.”

To celebrate, the store is hosting a grand re-opening that will feature a special 20% discount for BIG Rewards members redeemable at the Lake Charles store for the next two weeks and increased closeout offerings and bargains customers can brag about, providing more value and variety across furniture, décor, and pantry essentials.
