Central Library hosting Art Smarts program for tweens, teens

Tweens and teens (ages 10-plus) are invited to learn about a variety of famous artists while recreating one of their works in a fun program hosted by Central Library.

The next Art Smarts program will take place 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at the Central Library, located at 301 W. Claude St.

The theme for March centers around Abstract Art and attendees will go step by step to create their own form of abstract art in this beginner-friendly, laidback program for tweens, teens, and young adults.

Supplies are limited. Registration is required. To sign up, call (337) 721-7116 or sign up on online on the event calendar at https://calcasieulibrary.libnet.info/event/10052330

Aprons will be provided to protect clothes, but it is still recommended to dress for a potential mess.

For more information contact Central Library at (337) 721-7116 or visit www.calcasieulibrary.org/events.
