Sam Houston High and Moss Bluff elementary and middle schools are under a precautionary lockdown.
Students and staff are safe, the Calcasieu Parish School Board staff said.
As students arrive to Sam Houston they are being sent to the gym.
The School Board will provide an update when the lockdown is lifted.
