Hayes Lacombe

Hayes Lane Lacombe was born to Sadie and Cody Lacombe Friday morning

at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for Women.

As a bright start to a brand new year, Iowa, La., residents Sadie and Cody Lacombe welcomed the first baby of 2021 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for Women.

“It was a week past his due date,” explained new dad Cody Lacombe. “It was unexpected.”

Hayes Lane Lacombe was born at 6:36 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021.

He’s 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 19.7 inches long.

“It was great, but we’re exhausted right now,” said Lacombe when asked about being a new parent.

Lacombe said the baby and mother are doing well.
