HAMMOND (AP) — Parts of the cash box from an automated teller machine pulled from a Tangipahoa Parish deli have been located in Baton Rouge, and the truck used in the theft has been found in Hammond.

Sheriff’s deputies say the chains used to yank open the doors of a deli in Hammond and drag the ATM out were still attached to the truck when it was located.

The truck stolen Sunday was abandoned shortly after being used in the theft.
