Lake Charles Police are looking for the driver of a hit-and-run that occurred earlier this month.

Lt. Brenda Treadway said officers responded to a call regarding a hit-and-run just after 5 a.m. Aug. 10 in the area of SouthPark Drive and East Gauthier Road in Lake Charles.

She said a pedestrian was struck by a black sedan per a witness who observed the hit and run.

“The pedestrian suffered moderate injuries but not life threating and was transported to a local hospital for treatment,” Treadway said.
