Deanna Rita Sharp, 84, of Lake Charles, started her journey to Heaven at 2:07 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 in a local care facility surrounded by her three loving children.

Mrs. Sharp’s early career was marked by her commitment to the Fair Store, where she served diligently for many years. Yet, her true passion lay in caring for others, which inspired her to further her education and achieve degrees as both an LPN and a phlebotomist.

An adventurous spirit, Mrs. Sharp shared many memorable journeys with her beloved husband, Bill. Together, they explored the beauty of the United States, from the sweeping landscapes of Alaska to the picturesque shores of Nova Scotia. Their travels also took them across the Atlantic to Scotland and England, where they forged cherished memories with the extended Sharp family on their many adventures to Scotland.
