Broadway percussionist Lady Chops to perform at Calcasieu Libraries

Elizabeth Vidos, also known as Lady Chops, is bringing her one-woman drumming show to the Calcasieu Parish Public Library as part of the 2023 Summer Reading Program.

Vidos, a talented percussionist who has made a successful career out of her craft, has appeared in several shows including the famous Broadway production of “Stomp” in New York.

This energetic program incorporates over 15 different instruments, including buckets, body percussion, and the Cajun rubboard.

“Drum Roll Please” is a crowd-pleaser for all ages, with plenty of opportunities for audience participation!

The performances are free and open to all ages. A library card is not needed to attend library programs.
