Kevin Wayne Ewalt, 66, a resident of Moss Bluff, passed from this life on May 24, 2023, in the comfort of his home.

Kevin was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a glazier by trade and achieved a blackbelt in Escrima. Kevin loved being in his pool and celebrating life. He had a love-hate relationship with cutting his grass and his tractor named Maggie. He was a devoted brother and friend and enjoyed helping people fix things. In his younger years, he could be found on his homemade houseboat with his family on the Houston River.  Mr. Ewalt acquired a newfound faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was currently attending Glad Tidings Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Mohout Barnes; and his grandmother, Lillian Newman Ewalt.
