The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run that occurred Sunday morning in a casino parking lot located on La. 397 in Lake Charles.

Spokesperson Kayla Vincent said a car — possibly a 2001-2007 Ford Taurus —was backing up and struck a parked car. She said detectives have attempted to locate the car but have been unsuccessful.

Anyone who can identify the car seen in the photograph, or anyone with information related to the case is asked to call CPSO at 337-491-3846 and reference case number 23-51267.

Sgt. Casey Steech is the lead investigator on this case.
