SW La. school lunch menus April 3-7

The following menus for April 3-7 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Chicken fried patty or fingers with mashed potatoes and gravy, whole-wheat breadstick, great northern or navy beans, fruit cocktail, plums.

TUESDAY: Chili mac with whole-wheat biscuit or chili over cornbread bowl, cooked carrots, creamy coleslaw, pineapple tidbits, banana.

WEDNESDAY: Barbecue or lemon-baked chicken, baked beans, sweet potatoes with orange glaze, whole-wheat roll, peaches, apple.

THURSDAY: Chicken and vegetable dumplings or soy sauce chicken, fried rice, vegetable melody, mandarin oranges, pears, sugar cookies.

FRIDAY: No school.

Breakfast

MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, honey bun, pears, apple.

TUESDAY: Whole-grain biscuit, sausage patty, fruit cocktail, plums.

WEDNESDAY: Cheese toast or chocolate crescent, mini French toast with syrup, hash brown, peaches, apple.

THURSDAY: Mini French toast with syrup, hash brown, peaches, apple.

FRIDAY: No school.

MONDAY: Chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, apple, rolls.

TUESDAY: Beef crunchy taco, Spanish rice, red beans, taco salad cup, fruit mix.

WEDNESDAY: Ham, broccoli cheese and rice casserole, sweet potatoes, peaches, rolls.

THURSDAY: Manager’s choice.

FRIDAY: No school.

MONDAY: Breakfast sausage pizza, pears.

TUESDAY: Chicken biscuit, mixed fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti, seasoned green beans, broccoli and cheese, Italian rolls, applesauce cups.

THURSDAY: Turkey roast, Cajun rice dressing, sweet potatoes, honey wheat roll, sweet peaches, cookie.

FRIDAY: No school.

MONDAY: Maple waffle and sausage sandwich, pineapples.

TUESDAY: Waffles, pineapples.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast eggstravaganza with ham and cheese, buttered toast, fruit mix.

MONDAY: Cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, cheese sticks, flame-roasted corn, fresh broccoli, marinara sauce, cinnamon apples.

TUESDAY: Beef fingers, yeast rolls, redskin garlic mashed potatoes, pork-n-beans, mandarin oranges.

WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburger, sweet potato shoestring fries, sandwich cup, triple berries and whipped topping.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage jambalaya, ripstick breadstick, green beans, red grapes, green grapes.

THURSDAY: Taco salad with whole-grain chips, Mexicana corn, taco salad cup, fruit, raisin bread, salad bar.
