The threat for severe weather will gradually end through the morning with the storms expected to exit the region by early afternoon.

Some of the storms could contain hail, locally damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall, according to the National Weather Service’s Lake Charles office.

Another inch of rainfall is possible until then.
