Stanley Larry Boudreaux

Stanley Larry Joseph Boudreaux, 86, of Lake Charles, La., passed away at 3 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2023 in a local care facility.
Born May 12, 1936, Mr. Boudreaux was a life-long resident of Lake Charles. He proudly received his GED from Sulphur High School. He worked as a millwright for Olin Chemical for over 35 years, retiring in 1995. Mr. Boudreaux was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding with his son and the Lake Charles HOG’s. He loved spending time outside working in his shop and used his mechanic skills to help anyone in need, including all of the neighborhood kids. Mr. Boudreaux also had a great love for his family and cherished his time spent with them.
Mr. Boudreaux is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ester Gaspard Boudreaux; sons, Boud Stanley Boudreaux (Julie Myers) and Vernon Louis Boudreaux (Kathy T. Broussard); daughter, Connie Kennedy (Bobby); brother, Rodney L. Boudreaux; grandchildren, Kristie Fraim (Chris), Jason P. Boudreaux, and Carlee Wallace (Gerald); and great-grandchildren, Jason Alexander Boudreaux and Emma Fraim, with Carter Wallace on-the-way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Orisca Huval Boudreaux; and brother, Simon Lee Boudreaux.
His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the start of the service.
