A Westlake woman reported missing Monday after her car was found abandoned on a local service road near Welsh has been located, according to the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Deputy Chris Ivey said Tuesday the woman was found safe and brought to a hospital. No other details were released.

Wendi Annette Striedel, 46, was reported missing around 6 p.m. Monday after her 2023 Acura Intergra was found abandoned near I-10 and Oilfield Road near Welsh.
