SW La. school lunch menus March 13-17

The following menus for March 13-17 for area schools have been submitted by supervisors of food services. Menus are subject to change.

MONDAY: Meatball sliders or turkey pot pie; baked potato or macaroni and cheese, broccoli and ranch dressing, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

TUESDAY: Chicken spaghetti or Cajun chicken pasta, yam patty, creamy coleslaw, fruit cocktail, apple, cowboy cookie or vanilla grahams.

WEDNESDAY: Potato soup with diced ham or cheeseburger soup, carrot sticks with ranch, whole-wheat roll or cheddar cheese crackers, pineapple rings with cherries.

THURSDAY: Jambalya, vegetarian or pinto beans, mustard greens, grapes, orange.

FRIDAY: Pizza pocket or chicken tacquito, cream-style corn, celery sticks with ranch dressing, pizza crackers, peaches, raisins.


MONDAY: Breakfast pizza, apricots, apple.

TUESDAY: Mini biscuits, sausage patty or breakfast chicken patty, mandarin oranges, blueberries.

WEDNESDAY: Whole-grain cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese or cheese toast, fruit cocktail, apple.

THURSDAY: Oatmeal or oatmeal muffin square, hash brown, raisins, banana.

FRIDAY: Blueberry waffles with syrup, vanilla graham crackers, grapes, orange.



MONDAY: Pizza, corn, green beans, orange wedges.

TUESDAY: Grilled ham and cheese sandwich, sandwich salad cup, baked beans, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Spaghetti with meat sauce, broccoli, carrots, breadstick, fruit mix.

THURSDAY: Chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad, relish tray with dip, fruit cup.

FRIDAY: Staff in-service.


MONDAY: Toaster pastries, mixed fruit.

TUESDAY: French toast, peaches.

WEDNESDAY: Cinnamon toast, ham, pears.

THURSDAY: Breakfast burrito, mixed fruit.

FRIDAY: Yogurt, toast, peaches.



MONDAY: Teacher in-service.

TUESDAY: Mini corndog bites, roasted potato wedges, salad, grape tomatoes, fruit cocktail.

WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburgers, French fries, bold baked beans, strawberries.

THURSDAY: Beefy meatballs, rice and gravy, mustard greens, black-eyed peas, cornbread muffins, red grapes.

FRIDAY: Hot grilled cheese sandwhich, roasted potato wedges, mixed vegetables, cool peaches, St. Patrick’s Day cookies.


MONDAY: Teacher in-service.

TUESDAY: Pancake on a stick, orange wedges.

WEDNESDAY: Hashbrown bites, scrambled eggs, buttered toast, cool pears.

THURSDAY: Apple cinnamon muffins, orange wedges.

FRIDAY: Crunchy cereal, sweet pears.



MONDAY: Corndog, mozzarella cheese bites, marinara sauce, French fries, sliced peaches.

TUESDAY: Walking taco, tortilla chips, ranchero beans, fixing cup, salsa cup, mandarin oranges.

WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburger, creamy mac and cheese, curly fries, sandwich cup, fruit fluff, chocolate chip cookie.

THURSDAY: Cajun chicken pasta, Texas toast, dark green salad with cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks, applesauce, chocolate chip cookie.

FRIDAY: Fish nuggets, cornbread poppers, pork n’ beans, broccoli, cucumbers, sliced peaches.


MONDAY: Sausage biscuit, pineapple chunks, raisins.

TUESDAY: Mini maple waffle bites, tater triangles, mixed fruit cup.

WEDNESDAY: Banana split.

THURSDAY: Cinnamon swirls, strawberry cup.

FRIDAY: Whole-grain pancakes, peach cup.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken and dumplings, frozen mixed vegetables, chilled peaches, ice cream, cornbread, salad bar.

THURSDAY: Cheesy chili mac or lasagna, buttered corn, creamy coleslaw, fruit, garlic bread, salad.

FRIDAY: Tuna salad on a whole-wheat bun, French fries, baked beans, oatmeal raisin cookie, applesauce, salad bar.


MONDAY: Assorted cereal, cinnamon graham cracker, pineapple tidbits.

TUESDAY: Biscuit, white gravy, sliced ham, grapes.

WEDNESDAY: Breakfast burrito, chilled mix fruit.

THURSDAY: Cheese toast, hashbrowns, frozen fruit mix.

FRIDAY: Scrambled eggs, biscuit, strawberry, banana.
