Maverick Harper, 27 of Iowa, La., was charged Wednesday with five felony counts of pornography involving juveniles Under the age of 13.

Attorney General Jeff Landry said Harper’s arrest was a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, and Homeland Security Investigations.

Harper was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center following his arrest, Landry’s office said.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:

Derek Gerard Jackson, 39, 1406 14th St. — drug possession; prohibited acts, drug paraphernalia; criminal trespass. Bond: $7,500.

Rodney Gene Bergeron, 43, 108 Murphy Drive, Vinton — aggravated criminal damage to property; aggravated assault with a firearm; illegal use of weapons or dangerous instruments. Bond: $80,000.

Mister Sekoy Castille, 46, 219 Levi St., Jennings — residential contractor fraud $1,000 or more but less than $5,000; direct contempt of court.

Khouryonte Roysaun Brown, 22, 8559 Gulf Highway No. 354 — simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling; simple assault. Bond: $67,500.

Steven Howard Budwine, 43, 1437 Tasca St. — possession of a firearm or carrying of concealed weapon by a person convicted of domestic abuse battery and certain offense of battery of dating partner; possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles.

Lon Allen Porter Jr., 33, 1015 16th St. — theft less than $1,000; drug possession; flight from an officer; driving on roadway laned for traffic. Bond: $5,100.

Armorian Demond Hadnot, 25, 2324 Rose St. — direct contempt of court; illegal carrying of weapons, first offense; possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies; probation detainer.

Donald Joseph Larocca, 55, 2055 Amie Drive, Iowa, La. — failure to register and notify as a sex offender or child predator. Bond: $5,000.

Neal Raymond Schiesske Jr., 30, Addis — theft from $1,000 but less than $5,000. Bond: $9,500.

Robert Lee Pena Jr., 29, San Antonio — battery of a dating partner, strangulation.

William Blake Leeds, 36, 145 Tower Lane, DeRidder — three counts drug possession. Bond: $125,000.

Ashley Brent Ferris, 37, 1040 Brady St, Sulphur — battery of a dating partner, first offense; direct contempt of court.

Curtis Demon Adams, 44, 337 Dees St., DeRidder — domestic abuse battery, child endangerment; domestic abuse battery, strangulation; attempted second-degree murder; resisting an officer by refusal to I.D.; resisting an officer by flight. Bond: $751,500.

Tasha Denee McDaniel, 31, 2924 7th St. — public intimidation and retaliation; resisting a police officer with force or violence; drug possession; operating while intoxicated, first offense; money laundering; general speed law. Bond: $68,000.

Jimmy McClelland, 65, 3382 L. Benoit Road No. 39 — sexual battery.

Chad Dustin Gore, 43, 110 La. 109 South Apt 3, Starks — theft of a catalytic converter or engine control module less than $1,000. Bond: $40,000.
