Monster Truck Nitro Tour ‘Glow Show’ rolls into town

The “Monster Truck Thunder” will be striking in Lake Charles this weekend. On Saturday, Jan. 7, the Monster Truck Nitro Tour “Glow Show” will be revving up at the Burton Coliseum.

The lights in the arena will be dimmed and the show floor and monster trucks will be illuminated to create a more energetic experience. The featured 10,000 pound monster trucks – Boss Gator, Lone Wolf, Monster Patrol, Carolina Crusher and Barely Tame – will race, crush cars and compete in wheelie competitions. Guests can also look forward to a freestyle exhibition from the trucks.

Also at the show will be 4×4 “mud maniacs” competing in mud bog competitions and off-roaders participating in head-to-head Quad Wars.

An hour and a half before each show, the Pit Parties and Driver Autograph Sessions. Guests will be able to meet the drivers and their trucks, and have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos.

Guests will also have the chance to experience Monster Trucks first hand with the Ride Truck addition. Ride Truck events will take place during the Pit Parties and Intermissions. Additional purchase is required.

There are 2 showings; one at 1 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m. Both shows will last approximately 2 and a half hours.

Regular tickets for adults (13+) are $21. Kids, Seniors and Military can purchase tickets at $16. Children 3 and under get in free, but must sit in a guardian’s lap.

For the Children’s Matinee show, kids will receive a free tour gift while supplies last

Show at Pit Pass Packages tickets cost $31 a ticket. Tickets are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.

Ride Truck Passes are available for purchase on www.monstertrucktour.com for $20 per ticket.

All ticket prices are subject to change, and will increase the day of the event. Doors at the Burton Coliseum open at noon.
