Ralph Guillory

Ralph Guillory, 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on May 1, 1951 in Lake Charles, La., to Lowell and Deola Guillory.
He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army before retiring after 23 years of service as a sergeant first class. After retiring, he served for 20 years in the medical profession. He was a food connoisseur and enjoyed lobster. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was dedicated to his Catholic faith. He was straight forward, no nonsense, enjoyed a good joke, but tolerated very little foolishness.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 32 years, Clara Chantlin Guillory of Moss Bluff, La.; daughter, Lisa Guillory McCauley (Robert McCauley III) of Bowie, Md.; grandson, Mason McCauley of Bowie, Md.; siblings, Carolyn Duriseau of Arlington, Texas, Murray Guillory of Lake Charles, La., Mark Guillory (Carolyn) of Lake Charles, La., Denise Fisher of Baton Rouge, La., and Hubert Guillory (Amanda) of Lake Charles, La.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held at St. Theodore Catholic Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Monday, Dec. 5, 2022 at 11 a.m. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will take place in New Ritchie Cemetery following the service. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with a rosary at 10 a.m. and will continue at the funeral home until 10:45 a.m.
