Southwest Louisiana is under a slight risk of severe weather Tuesday morning as a cold frontal passage makes it way through the area.

The National Weather Service’s Lake Charles office said their main concern is damaging wind gusts — but there is an isolated risk of hail and tornadoes, as well.

Heavy rain is expected and flooding in low-lying areas is also possible.
